In our previous post we showed you how to furnish this spacious Tribeca apartment as a nice 2BR with a formal dining area, with no modifications to the existing layout. But what if you were to follow owner’s suggestion that this unit can also be used as a flexible 3BR? In such case, one way of doing this would be to convert our dining area into a third bedroom. Providing you were allowed to do this, you could opt for a quasi permanent solution of installing two pressurized walls – one with a door opening leading to the converted living room, and the other forming a back wall of a custom closet (also closing up our pass-through kitchen).
